With Kate on the Case making its way onto several curriculums I’ve had the opportunity to host readings and activities in schools all over the UK.
These visits usually include a reading followed by a tailored session— either creative writing or drawing, then a Q&A. These visits can be conducted in a classroom or in an assembly for larger groups.
The series was written to encourage curiosity and critical thinking amongst young readers, as well as foster imagination and a passion for reading, and I really enjoy seeing what the kids create over the course of the session.
